Does The City Club’s membership reflect the diversity of San Francisco?
People making a difference through leadership, fellowship and diversity defines our membership. Members of The City Club include some of the city’s most influential corporate, academic, civic and social leaders. We were one of the first clubs in San Francisco to actively encourage a healthy diversity in its membership. Today’s membership reflects the city’s wide range of cultures and philosophies.

How does The City Club enable members to conduct business?
The City Club provides a quiet, sophisticated and convenient venue for conducting confidential business. Our amenities include private meeting rooms, business center access, Wi-Fi availability and advanced audio-visual technology. Our team of culinary professionals and event planners can assist you with any size or type of meeting, including presentations, workshops and seminars.

What networking opportunities are available at the City Club? 
The City Club’s culture is supportive and entrepreneurial. We encourage informal networking in the Members’ Lounge/Game Room, during happy hours in The Wine Cellar and at special members-only events. We also host monthly Jamison Roundtable Luncheons, where members can interact with community leaders, and our First Fridays networking breakfast for members and their guests.

What social events does The City Club offer?
The City Club provides numerous opportunities for members to socialize with their guests and other members. In addition to our luncheon buffet every weekday, we offer our Diego Lifestyle cocktail mixers, winemaker dinners, speakeasy nights, culinary classes, museum and walking tours, and more.

Does The City Club offer different levels of membership?
The City Club offers five membership options: The 155 Society (our highest level of membership, limited to 155 members), Resident (members who live within a 100-mile radius), Non-Resident (members who live outside a 100-mile radius), Young Professionals (members under the age of 40) and Non-Profit (members who work in the non-profit field). Does City Club membership include any fitness benefits?
Members may take advantage of a special, discounted rate at Equinox Fitness, conveniently located directly adjacent to The City Club.

How does The City Club communicate with members?
We send bi-weekly e-newsletters with general announcements and club news, upcoming events and member profiles. Additionally, updates are always available on our website’s calendar.
